Absolutely. DJs are often booked early so it is wise to book your DJ early and revisit the lighting and other options at a later date. Please note they are subject to availability and price changes.
The DJ you book is the DJ you get at your event. The only exception to this is in the event of an emergency or health issue to your booked DJ. We strictly do not take double bookings.
At Decibel we place a lot of emphasis on quality. Therefore all of our DJs are trained in accordance to Decibel’s signature style and high standards. While all of our DJs have different mixing styles they all provide the same Decibel experience that our company is renowned for. If you are still uncertain we can discuss your music taste during a consult and recommend DJs accordingly.

The DJ price includes their music services during the event, one custom mix, and music consultation services leading up to your event.
You can specify a start time and your DJ will arrive early enough to ensure the music is up and running before the designated time. The exact arrival time can vary based on the size of your respective lighting package. As for the end time, we stay for as late as you have the venue booked till. If we are asked by the security or hall management to wind down, we must oblige.
Our DJs do take requests, provided you’ve given your approval, and the requests do not disrupt the event in any way. We also send out a music form in the weeks leading up to your event where you can indicate key songs for your event (as well as songs you wouldn’t like played).
We are based out of Surrey, BC. Our DJs are available to perform worldwide for festivals and weddings. Please note travel and accommodation expenses apply for events outside of the Lower Mainland.
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit within 7 days of signing your contract to secure your booking. Your balance will be due at least 10 days prior to your first event. We accept E-transfer, credit card, cash, cheque, and bank draft. For the final balance, we do not accept personal cheques.
